so here are 2 of the poems ive written so far. they've been for english class..but i hope to keep writing..it makes me feel good about myself. tell me what you think...cuz i really wanna know!!
*If Only I Saw You*
A verbal mediator listening to the tears and laughter,
Hearing the barking dog, the music playing, and the voices talking.
With every word and every breath, the shakiness is heard.
Though expressions are not seen,
The voice on the other end is a picture of your face.
Finding comfort through a voice can never be true,
For all there is to want is to be there with you,
Just to have you say you love me too.
Wondering at times when the voice is there,
What new story it is that would be told today?
Would it bring laughter, or would it bring tears?
The only way to find out,
Is to put me close to your ear.
Let me whisper my new story to you,
And let your voice draw the picture of your beautiful face,
With the brown eyes that are only dreamt of at night.

I Stand Here Crying
How much I put up with because of you.
I know you thought I wouldn’t bite,
But soon I hear you yell with all of your might.
With every tear that falls down my cheek,
I’m always left with one less word to speak.
Sometimes when I stand here crying,
I hear you near me,
And I know you’re spying.
It’s something you could clearly see,
If you only looked at me.
To pass the outsides so its deep enough,
Where it’s all so rough.
Running down is a tear,
Which brings me lots of fear.
I feel relief when it comes down,
Even though it might make me frown.
With everything you put me through,
I only wish you sometimes knew.
